On Monday, Left Unions around the country went on numerous protest marches. Why? Well, it was with regard to the ongoing WTO Summit in Hong Kong, and they were protesting against the subsidies offered to farmers in North America and Europe. What did they want instead?
They wanted removal of these subsidies, and free access to the American and European markets.
Worth a laugh, until you realise that these characters shape our policy-making on behalf of our spineless Government.
