9PM really is prime-time. As much as 40% of the population is watching TV or a movie at that time. Also noted: At 12 noon, 12% of all Americans are eating. That figure jumps to 17% by 12:10. By those calculations, 15 million people sit down to lunch in that ten-minute interval.
